⚡ What should I do with the rights of a departed user?

Has a user left your organisation? Here’s how to correctly adjust their rights.

How to proceed

  1. Block the user
    Go to Users, click on the three dots next to the user and select Block.
  2. Replace the user (if necessary)
    Create a new user and assign the same rights.
  3. Reassign actions
    Tasks, notifications, and measures are not automatically transferred and must be reassigned manually.

Note – do not delete the user
Do not delete a user until there is a replacement or the rights have been transferred.

If the user still has a role in actions (as owner or assigned user), this link will disappear. This may cause you to lose oversight.

Therefore, it is better to block the user first.

Good to know
Is the user an organisation administrator? You cannot assign this role yourself.
