By default, a notification is automatically assigned to the notification holder of the location.
In certain situations, you want a notification, depending on the selected category, to be assigned to a different or additional notifier.
This way you can follow up notifications per category more specifically.
Follow these steps
- Click on Notifications in the menu bar.
Choose Notification settings.
- The Notification Settings screen opens. Click on Locations.
- Select the location for which you want to assign one or more notifiers per category.
- Choose the user(s) you want to set as notifier(s) for the category.
Click on Save.
Note – Redirect
When you set a user as notification holder for a category, the default notifier holder of the location will no longer receive this notification.
If you want the notifier holder of the location to also receive the notification, you must explicitly add this user as notifier for that category.
Example
For the location Production, Hubert Wauthier is the default notifcation holder.
When the category Fire and explosion hazard is selected, the notification goes to Jan Wauters (notifier holder of the category), and not to Hubert Wauthier.
So do not forget to add Hubert Wauthier as notification holder for the category Fire and explosion if he should also receive the notification.
