Because Pharius operates with two separate databases — one for Belgium and one for the Netherlands — the way legal amendments and new legislation are displayed may differ slightly.
Below we explain how this works for Belgium and for the Netherlands.
Belgium
There are daily changes in laws and regulations. In Pharius you receive for Belgium only suggestions for potentially relevant new laws, based on the profile of your organization.
In addition, you always stay informed of changes and repeals of laws and regulations that are already included in your register.
Types of changes
There are three types of changes that can be assessed. Depending on the type and the relevance, different actions need to be taken.
Example:
The Netherlands
Also in the Dutch environment you are informed daily about changes in laws and regulations. In Pharius you receive suggestions for potentially relevant new laws and stay informed of changes and repeals within your register.
Types of changes
Also for the Netherlands we distinguish three types of legal amendments, each requiring different follow-up.
Amended laws and regulations are visually indicated:
- Orange – Exact match: a fragment from your register has been amended.
- Grey – Related: the amendment is related to one or more fragments.
- Red – Multiple registers: the amendment appears in several registers, of which at least one has already been handled.
