Reviewing Changes

An important factor to be and remain demonstrably compliant is legislative changes that may impact the laws and regulations in your registers.

With Pharius, you are informed about potentially relevant changes and new laws. You can review these and determine whether they are relevant to your organization.

Reviewing a Change

Because the process differs for Belgium and the Netherlands, we explain both methods separately below.

Belgium

Step 1 – Select a change

Select the change you want to review.

Step 2 – The review screen

The review screen consists of two parts.

On the left, you will find all information about the change:

  • Link to the document in the database
  • Core of the requirement (general text)
  • Link to the amendment document in the Belgian Official Gazette
  • Publication date and effective date
  • Overview of amended articles or annexes
  • Possibly a news message with explanation

On the right, you review the change:

  • Selected registers (if impact on multiple registers)
  • Status (released, in progress, completed)
  • Change relevant (yes or no)
  • Impact analysis
  • Implementation report
    Don't forget to click Save.

Via the tabs Tasks pending and Tasks completed, you can, if necessary, create and follow up on tasks.

The Netherlands

Step 1 – Select a change

Select the change you want to review.

Step 2 – The review screen

Here too, the screen consists of a left and right part.

On the left, you see several tabs:

  • Information – core of the requirement, links and data
  • Text – full legal text with highlights
  • Annex – annexes with possible changes
  • Changes – overview of all adjustments
  • Explanation – additional context from the government

On the right, you review the change:

  • Selected registers
  • Status of the review
  • Relevance of the change
  • Impact analysis
  • Implementation report
Saving can be done at company level or per register.

Here too, you can easily involve others via Tasks.
